Why Imperial

Personal guidance, from materials to finishing

Approximately six years of flooring and renovation experience with Imperial. Antonio helps homeowners evaluate existing conditions and plan the agreed work with clear communication.

  • Help Choosing Materials

Personal guidance and sample review help you compare materials for your home, not just their appearance.

  • Your Materials or Ours

Ask Imperial to source your selection, or bring your own flooring. Suitability and installation requirements are reviewed first.

  • Attention to Finishing Details

Edges, transitions and trim are considered in the scope. Unexpected conditions and changes are discussed with you.

How it works

A simple, three-step process

  1. 1

    Free on-site evaluation.

Antonio confirms measurements, evaluates the existing flooring, checks floor levels and surface condition, and reviews preparation and removal needs before estimating.

  2. 2

    Material selection and scope review.

Choose Imperial-sourced or customer-purchased materials. Review suitability, preparation, removal and what is included in the estimate.

  3. 3

    Installation and finishing details.

Installation follows the agreed scope, with attention to edges and transitions. Unexpected conditions and scope changes are discussed with you.

FAQ

Homeowner questions

Are your estimates free?

Yes. Antonio offers free property visits and on-site estimates. This offer covers the visit and estimate, not materials or installation work.

Do you visit the property before quoting?

Antonio confirms measurements, evaluates the existing flooring, checks floor levels and surface condition, and reviews preparation and removal needs before estimating.

Can you help me choose and purchase materials?

Yes. Imperial can help with material choices, reviewing samples, and sourcing materials when requested. Suitability and costs are reviewed as part of the agreed scope.

Can you install flooring I purchased myself?

Yes. Imperial can install customer-purchased flooring after reviewing material suitability and project requirements. Discuss your selection before installation.

Can new flooring be installed over my existing floor?

Sometimes. Antonio evaluates the existing surface, floor levels, condition, preparation needs, and the selected product requirements before recommending an overlay or removal. Existing flooring cannot always stay.

What happens if you find unexpected conditions?

Antonio discusses the conditions, preparation needs, and any scope changes with you. Extra work and repairs are not automatically free or included; the agreed scope should identify them.

Do you currently work on residential or commercial projects?

Imperial currently focuses on residential projects across the Treasure Coast. Commercial flooring and commercial polished concrete are future expansion plans, not current offers.

Which flooring services do you offer?

We install residential LVP and laminate flooring, ceramic, porcelain and marble flooring tile, and garage floor epoxy coatings. We also handle flooring repairs and restoration, and can install baseboards within the agreed scope.

What affects the cost of my project?

The main factors are the material you choose, the square footage, what flooring is there now and whether it needs removal, how much subfloor or concrete preparation is needed, and the overall scope. We'll talk through each of these before giving an estimate.

Can I request help with flooring repairs?

Yes. Describe the issue in the estimate form, such as damaged planks or cracked tiles, and tell us whether you have spare matching materials. We'll let you know what's involved.

Which cities do you serve?

Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Jensen Beach, Stuart, and Palm City. We work at your property.

What information should I provide for an estimate?

Your city or ZIP code, the service you're interested in, approximate room sizes or square footage, the current flooring, and any material preferences.
